In 2009 I was invited to contribute to an ECME concert celebrating Professor Nigel Osborne, my former PhD supervisor. Acknowledging Nigel’s support of my initial exploration of music and architecture (see the Chrysler Cycle) I chose another NYC icon; the Guggenheim Museum (the title references the building’s zip code). The music responds to architectural features, such as the skylight and spiral choreography of the interior. The openness created in the work is representative of the building’s spacious, light interior and also its proximity to Central Park, which was a vital issue in determining the museum’s location.

In 2011 NYOS Futures performed the work, with an accompanying film made by myself and my husband, Andrew.
